The Pendennis Trophy is awarded each year to a member of the club who has been nominated to have performed beyond there usual standards in aiding the club. The presentation of which takes place at the AGM.
But this was not the case this year, which took place at the Wigan Model Railway Exhibition on Friday the 7th of November 2007 when Bob Vickers was awarded the Pendennis trophy. Bob who lives in the New Forest and therefore an Associate Member of the club, thinks nothing of travelling all over the country to operate Saffron Street, which in most cases adds an extra 2hours to his journey. Plus he also helps with other club activities and at our exhibitions Risex and Railex.
